Built-in commands
Commands answer questions and carry out small tasks by voice. Hold Right Command, ask, and let go. The answer streams into an island at the top of your screen, around the notch, or at the top center on displays without one.
Asking
- Hold Right Command (Right Alt on Windows) while you speak, then let go.
- For a hands-free conversation, tap Right Command twice to talk with the Assistant. Say “Stop” or press Escape to end it.
- Ask a follow-up while the answer is open and the conversation continues with everything said so far.
- Press Enter to paste the answer into the app you’re in, or Escape to close.
Commands use the AI provider and model you chose in Settings › AI, with your own key.
Built-in tools
The model picks a tool when your request needs one. You can switch tools on and off, and choose which ones ask for approval, on the Commands screen under Built-in.

About images
Sayzen only looks at a copied image when you ask about it, and shows an approval card before the picture goes to your provider. Approved pictures stay available for follow-up questions in the same conversation. You can set image analysis to ask every time or always approve.
