Dictionary
The dictionary holds the words Sayzen should always get right: names, product terms, jargon. Add them once and every dictation after that uses them.
Add a word
- Open Dictionary in Sayzen and choose Add word.
- Type the correct spelling, for example Selin.
- Optionally add the misspellings Sayzen has made of it, such as Celine. Each misspelling is replaced with the correct word.
With a Multilingual (Whisper) model, dictionary words are also passed to it as hints, which helps it hear them correctly in the first place. Parakeet takes no hints, but the misspellings you add are still replaced.
Suggestions from your corrections
When you fix a word right after Sayzen types it, Sayzen can suggest adding that correction to your dictionary. Words in your dictionary also collect likely misspellings found in your recent dictations, with how many times each appeared; open the word to review them. Suggestions never change your dictionary until you add them.
Edit and delete
Search the list, edit a word to add or remove misspellings, or delete it. Shift-click delete removes a word without asking. The dictionary has a size limit; when it is full, delete a word or add misspellings to one you already have.
