Shared notes
Share a note with other people and write in it together, live. Sharing needs a Sayzen account. Everything else in Sayzen works without one.
Signing in
In Settings › Account, choose Sign in. Your browser opens to sign in with your email or Google. The sign-in is kept encrypted on your computer, with your API keys.
Sharing runs on a test service for now. Accounts and shared notes made on it may not carry over when it moves to its own address.
Sharing a note
- Open a note and choose Share.
- Invite people by email address, as Can edit or Can read.
- Tell them. Sayzen doesn’t send an email: the invitation waits in their Notes until they sign in to Sayzen with that address.
Everyone writes at once, and the note says in words who has it open.
Meeting notes
Sharing a meeting’s note shares its notes. What was said is shared only when you turn on Include the transcript. Recordings are never shared.
What the sharing server keeps
Only what you share: the note’s title and text, its people and invitations, and who has it open. Your other notes, History, recordings and API keys stay on your computer, and the server never runs AI.
Each shared note also keeps an encrypted copy on your computer, so search, Sayzen and coding agents can read it, offline too.
Stopping
- Stop sharing removes the note from the sharing server. Everyone keeps the copy they have.
- Leave a note shared with you, and your copy stays.
- Sign out in Settings › Account. Every note stays on your computer; shared ones stop syncing until you sign in again.
